Kathy is from Waverly, Ohio, and lives in Chillicothe. She graduated from Waverly High School and Scioto Technical College with a degree in electro-mechanical engineering in addition to earning her real estate license. Kathy is married to her husband, Bob, with whom she has a son. Kathy has been an active member in the Ohio Recorder’s Association, where was the state president in 2005. 

Kathy previously worked as general manager for the Tri-County Vending Service and Wholesale Electronics Inc. She was also a part-time realtor with Kear Realty. 

Kathy Dunn is the Ross County recorder. She was elected in 1997 and is serving her seventh term. She previously served as Chillicothe City Treasurer from 1986 to 1997.

As County Recorder, worked on legislative issues such as removing social security numbers from recorded documents, creating the Veterans Identification Card, and preventing misleading solicitations for deed records.

Kathy Dunn currently serves as the County Recorder in Ross County, Ohio. She was first elected in 1997 and is serving her 7th term. She has been an active member in the Ohio Recorder’s Association, where she served as State President in 2005. Kathy previously served as Chillicothe City Treasurer from 1986 to 1997.
