Jane is from Weston, Ohio, and attended Otsego High School. She is married to her husband, Doug, with whom she has 2 children. She lives in Plain Township. She attends Weston Church of Christ. 

Jane currently works on her family farm. She previously worked as a commercial and retail banker. She serves as the treasurer of the Wood County Republican Women’s Club and Grand Rapids Cub Scout Pack #325. 

Jane Spoerl currently serves as the Wood County Treasurer. She was elected to this position in 2016 and is serving her 2nd term.
