Craig LaHote has served as Wood County commissioner since July 2015, following an appointment to fill a retired commissioner's term, and was subsequently elected to full terms in 2016 and 2020. He previously served as a Perrysburg Township trustee from 2004 to 2015, including roles as president and vice-president of the Board of Trustees. He is currently the president of the Wood County Board of Commissioners and serves on the County Risk Sharing Authority (CORSA) Board of Directors.

Craig is a partner and technology consultant at Meyer Hill Lynch. He has previously held roles such as VP of sales and marketing at Lockrey Manufacturing, director of business development and senior IT consultant at Computol, and director of IT at S & R Equipment Company. He has also worked as director of technical services at Matrix Technologies, Inc., and business systems consultant at Bock, Nichols, Korsnack & Hinds, Inc.

Craig lives in Perrysburg Township with his wife Nancy. They are members of Zoar Lutheran Church and have 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren. He has a master's degree in business administration from Heidelberg University.
