Shannon Jones is a Warren County commissioner. She was elected in 2016 and is serving her second term. Shannon previously served 2 terms as a state senator, serving as chair of the Senate Public Utilities Committee, chair of the Senate Medicaid, Health & Human Services Committee, and vice chair of the Senate Finance and Appropriations Committee. She also served 1 term as a state representative from 2006 to 2009.

Shannon currently works as the senior advisor for the non-profit Groundwork Ohio.

Shannon graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor's degree in communications. She and her husband, Russell, live in Springboro and they have 2 adult children.
