Nancy holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and marketing from Truman State University and a master's of business administration degree from Miami University. Nancy is married to her husband, Bob, with whom she has six children and one grandchild.

Nancy is a certified public accountant (CPA). She worked as a Private Banking Manager at U.S. Bank, a staff accountant for Clark, Schaefer, Hackett & Co, CPAs, and a Plant Controller for Corson Packaging of Ohio.

Nancy currently serves as the Butler County Auditor. She was appointed to this position in 2023. She is a former president of the County Treasurers' Association of Ohio and secretary and treasurer of the Southwest Ohio District Treasurers' Association.
