Diane Larson currently serves as a State Senator in North Dakota. She was first elected n 2016 and is serving her 2nd term. Diane previously served in the North Dakota House of Representatives. She has served as chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee and currently serves as the vice chair of the Juvenile Justice Committee.

Diane worked as a youth worker for the Bismarck Police Department. She is also an author, having written a Christian children's book titled "The Reward."

Diane earned her associates degree from Bismarck State College and her bachelor's degree in education from the University of North Dakota. She and her husband Greg have 2 children and 4 grandchildren. Diane is actively involved in various boards and commissions including Interstate Compact for Juveniles, the State Advisory Group on Juvenile Justice, and the North Dakota Commission on Juvenile Justice. She is also involved with the Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch and the Children's Advocacy Center.
