Randy Christmann is the chair of the North Dakota Public Service Commission. He was elected to this position in 2012. He previously served in the North Dakota Senate from 1995 to 2012.

Randy has previously worked as a director for West River Telecommunications. He served in the North Dakota National Guard from 1977 to 1983.

Randy is from Hazen, North Dakota, and graduated from Hazen High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from North Dakota State University. He and his wife, Bethanie live in Bismarck and attend Peace Lutheran Church near Hazen.
