Claudia has both a bachelor's degree in government and politics and a law degree from St. John's University, and a master of laws degree from Cardozo School of Law. 

Claudia previously worked as a private practice attorney at the Law Office of Ann Margaret Carrozza and as a principal law clerk for Judge Rudolph Greco.  She is also a former owner and instructor at a Hot Yoga Studio. 

Claudia Lanzetta currently serves as a judge of the New York City Civil Court in Queens County. She was first elected to this position in 2019 and is serving her first term. She previously served as a criminal court judge for King's County. 

As a New York City civil court judge for 4 years, Lanzetta oversees cases involving claims under $50,000, landlord-tenant disputes, and enforcement of housing codes.
