Mrs. Sydney Batch is a native North Carolinian who attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for her undergraduate degree, Juris Doctorate, and Masters of Social Work. She is married to J. Patrick Williams, with whom she owns a small law firm in Wake County. Mrs. Sydney Batch is a family law attorney, child welfare advocate, and social worker who co-owns a small law firm in Wake County with her husband, J. Patrick Williams. She has served as a member of the North Carolina Senate, where she sponsored and co-sponsored numerous bills. Sydney is also a certified Child Welfare Law Specialist and a certified Parenting Coordinator. Previously, she has been a faculty member for Parent Attorney Conferences held by the Institute of Government at UNC-CH.

Mrs. Sydney Batch was elected to serve the people of Wake County in the North Carolina General Assembly in 2018.
