Chris Rogerson currently serves as a district court judge in Judicial District 8. He was appointed to this position in 2022 and is serving his first term. Chris ran for the same position in 2008, but did not win at the time.

Chris previously worked as a sole practitioner in his own private practice and as a partner with Rogerson and Swindell, LLP.

Chris was born and raised in Kinston. He holds both a bachelor's degree and a law degree from Campbell University.
