Eddie has lived in Hartnett County all his life. He graduated from Western Hartnett High School and Mount Olive College. Eddie attends Coats Baptist Church, and is a former deacon. He is also a retired volunteer fireman and emergency medical technician (EMT) for Boone Trail Emergency Services. He has a family.

Eddie is currently a sales manager for an HVAC and electrical contractor. He has worked for over 30 years in law enforcement, including as a deputy sheriff.

Eddie Jaggers is currently a member of the Harnett County Board of Education. He was elected in 2016 and is serving his second term. He is currently the chair of the Board.
