Don earned his bachelor's degree in physics and philosophy and a graduate degree in business studies from Stony Brook University. He is the founder and executive director of Repair Café North Carolina and the foundation chair of Rotary Club Oxford. Fick and his wife, Laura, have three sons and live in Oxford.
