Rodney Hester is a Bladen County Commissioner. He was elected in 2020 and is serving his first term. He previously served as a Bladenboro Town Commissioner.

Rodney has experience working as a law enforcement officer with the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles. He also worked with the Bladen County Sheriff's Office in the past.

Rodney is from Bladenboro, where he still lives. He has a wife and 2 daughters. graduated from Bladenboro High School, then earned his bachelor's degree in criminal justice administration from the University of Mount Olive and his master's degree in criminal justice from the University of Central Missouri.
