T. Dianne Bellamy-Small is currently a member of the Guilford County Board of Education. She was elected in 2016 and is serving her second term. She also served as a member of the Greensboro City Council from 2002 to 2010 for 2 terms.

Dianne has worked as a statewide parent advocate, trainer, and consultant for the Exceptional Children’s Assistance Center. She has also served as a trainer for the GCS Title I Conference.

Dianne studied music at Brevard College and English language & literature/letters at Randolph College before earning a certification in continued education, human development and family studies from Duke University and her bachelor's degree in music & english from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
