Robin Calcutt previously ran for County Board of Education Member in 2022, but she did not win.

Robin currently works as a professor and chair of the Teacher Education department at St. Andrews University. She previously worked as a teacher and assistant principal at Union Pines High School and as principal of New Century Middle and West Pine Middle Schools.

Robin is from Moore County and attended Pinecrest High School. She holds a bachelor’s degree in middle grades and visual arts K-12 education from Wingate University, a master’s degree in visual arts from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a second master’s degree in instructional technology from East Carolina University. She lives in Southern Pines. She is married to her husband, Randy, with whom she has 3 daughters and 1 grandchild. She is a member of the First Baptist Church in Aberdeen.
