April Lee

April Lee is a Johnston County native who has lived in the McGee’s Crossroads community for nearly 18 years. She attended Four Oaks and Benson Elementaries, graduated from South Johnston in 1995, and earned her Masters in Education from Campbell University in 2008. April is a mother and wife, with her two youngest children attending Johnston County Public Schools and her oldest having graduated from West Johnston High School. Information about the church she attends is not provided.

April Lee has spent 21 years teaching in Johnston County Public Schools before accepting a position at Harnett County Early College, where she continues to work as a classroom teacher. She holds multiple teaching licenses, including Middle Grades Math, Language Arts, and Social Studies, as well as High School Social Studies, and is licensed to teach Academically Gifted students in grades K-12. April earned her Masters in Education from Campbell University in 2008 and her National Board Certified Teacher designation in 2010.
