Vaughn Seeking City Council Seat

Calvin earned a master’s degree in public administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He has served on the board of Mount Airy Museum of Regional History, the Surry County Health Foundation and the Mount Airy Planning Board. He teaches Sunday School. 

Calvin is currently retired. Previously, he worked for JC Penney and the American Red Cross. 

Calvin Vaughn’s campaign for Mount Airy City Council is his first run for public office.
