Michael graduated from the Golf Coast Community College Officers Academy and the Montana Highway Patrol Academy. He has four kids.

Michael Hummert served in the United States Army for two years before joining the Navy, where he worked as a cook, a deep-sea hardhat salvage diver, and a marine mammal operator. He was also a diving instructor at a salvage diving school in Panama City Beach, Florida. Micahel started a home remodeling company in 1996.

Said, "Did they make abortion legal? No! This is the one time in the history of Roe vs Wade that they would not have even had to compromise."

Said, "On May 3, 2022, it was leaked that the Supreme Court was going to overturn Roe vs Wade... the Senate introduced legislation on May 3 to make abortion legal..."

Said, "In 2022 we the Democrats pulled out an abortion bill that had no chance of passing... This was only done because the Supreme Court was making a decision to turn abortion back to the states..."

Opposes any candidate who disagrees with their stance on abortion, despite agreement on other healthcare issues, due to their single-issue voting based on abortion.

The candidate's website says, "The Democrats make outrageous claims that the Republicans want to force 15-year-old rape victims to carry their rapist baby to full term. ... The candidate's website says, "In 2000 George W. Bush held both Houses. He campaigned on abortion... he could not have made abortion illegal, but he could have returned many rights to restrict it back to the states..."

Said, "January 1973 Roe vs Wade was decided by the Supreme Court as a privacy matter based on the 14th amendment due process clause... Even Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg scratched her head on this one..."

The candidate's website says, "Bill Clinton in 1992 to 1994 had a solid Democrat House... Did they come up with a compromise bill to legalize abortion? No! ..."

Said, "Once again, it's about compromise. 2008 to 2010 Barack Obama... He had a solid House of Representatives and one vote away from being a super majority in the Senate. Had they crafted a bill with any compromise at all, I'm sure they could've found one person on the Republican side to vote for it. We wouldn't have to talk about this issue ever again..."

Said, "I do not think it will matter what any federal politician thinks about abortion... If they are talking about abortion, it is only to divide us or raise money."

Said, "It is the stated goal of the Fed to have a target inflation rate between 2 and 3% annually... If the Fed reaches their target at 3% each year, in a 10-year period of time things will cost 30% more... This is why interest rates went up so quickly, to squash the inflation that was caused by the Fed’s monetary policies and congresses knee-jerk reaction when Covid hit. Between the two of them, they dumped more than 2 trillion dollars into our financial system in less than a month."

Said, "There are few things as complicated as our financial system... Some parts work well while other parts are destructive to our society... If our politicians were not purchased and operated by the 1%, then the banks would not be bailed out."

Michael Hummert grew up as the middle child of five in a family where his mother left when he was eight and was raised by his father, a union construction worker. He served in the Army after high school and later joined the Navy, where he started a family with his first wife and had two daughters. He attended Golf Coast Community College Officers Academy, graduating in 1995. Details about where he currently lives, the church he attends, or his current family situation beyond his two daughters and wife are not provided.

Michael Hummert served in the United States Army for two years before joining the Navy, where he started as a cook on a destroyer and later became a deep-sea hardhat salvage diver and a Marine Mammal Operator. He was also a Diving Instructor at the world's largest salvage diving school in Panama City Beach, Florida. After retiring from the Navy in 1996, he started a home remodeling company.
