Ken has a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Columbia University and a Master of Arts in global governance and public policy from Middlesex University. He was born and raised in southeast Montana.

Ken is a Montana State Senator. Previously, he worked in politics as a field representative, chief of staff, and regional political director. Ken served in the United States Marine Corps for four years.
