Emma Kerr-Carpenter

Emma is actively involved with the Billings First Congregational Church and serves on the board of the Northern Plains Resource Council, where she also chairs the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. She and her husband, Dan, have one son. 

Emma's career has been focused on working with youth and their families to help them overcome poverty, trauma, and crisis.

Emma Kerr-Carpenter currently serves as the State House Member representing District 49. She was first elected in 2018 and is seeking a fourth term.

- Your State Representative participates in the legislative process at the state level. They are one of 100 members of the Montana House of Representatives. The Montana House of Representatives is the lower house of the Montana State Legislature (the state's lawmaking body).
