Alexander earned his bachelor's degree in outdoor adventure leadership from Montana State University Billings. He volunteers as a program coordinator for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Yellowstone County and is a Board Member for 406 Pride. He has two children. 

Alexander is a podcast host on a show called Xander Speaks. Previously, he worked as a benefits advisor for Aflac, a supervisor for Spectrum, and a customer service representative for Horizon Air. He owned a store called Mr. Clark's Grooming Essentials for 2 years. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force.

- Your State Representative participates in the legislative process at the state level. They are one of 100 members of the Montana House of Representatives. The Montana House of Representatives is the lower house of the Montana State Legislature (the state's lawmaking body).
