He is a twenty year veteran of the Air Force and Montana National Guard, where he served as an Airborne Intelligence Language Analyst and the Superintendent of Intelligence. Additionally, he has been involved with numerous state and local non-profit boards.

George Nikolakakos is currently a state representative for the Montana House of Representatives' 26th District. He was first elected in 2022.
