Mark Stigers is currently serving as a Middletown City Commissioner. He was first elected in 2016 and is serving his 4th term. He acts as the Mayor pro tem in the absence of the actual mayor.

Mark is retired, most recently working as the fire analyst for NEFCO Fire Investigations. He has also previously worked as the assistant chief of the Middletown Fire Protection District and a piping designer for Forst and Associates Consulting Engineers and Luckett and Farley Architects and Engineers.

Mark is from Louisville, Kentucky and attended Eastern High School. He has a diploma in architectural design from the Louisville Technical Institute and an associate's degree in applied science from Jefferson Community College. Mark and his wife Norma have two children. He volunteers at the Historic Middletown Museum, serves on the board of the Historic Middletown Inn, and leads the Middletown Historic Preservation Commission.
