She resides in Louisville with her husband, George Demaree, Jr. Her volunteer work is extensive and includes volunteering with Americana Community Center, Big Brothers/Big Sisters School Program, Junior Achievement, the Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, the Every 1 Reads Program, and youth programs in the City of Shively, Ky.
