Kelly is from Frankfort and graduated from Western Hills High School. He and his wife Brittany have two children.  

Kelly is the general manager of Burbon on Main and director of operations at Sig Luscher Brewing Company. He previously worked as the general manager of Kentucky Coffeetree Cafe and as assistant banquet manager and banquet captain at the Embassy Suites Lexington.


Kelly May currently serves as a city commissioner for Frankfort Kentucky. He was first elected in 2022 and is serving his 1st term.
