Sue Parrigin currently serves as commissioner for Bowling Green in Kentucky. She was first elected in 2015 and is serving her 5th term. Sue has also served 3 terms as Mayor Pro Tem. She is the chair of the Barren River Area Crisis Services Transformation Committee.

Sue is currently an adjunct faculty member at Kent State University and previously held positions as director of sales at Hyatt Place Bowling Green, program manager at the WKU Workforce Training Center, and director of conference services at Western Kentucky University. She also served as an adjunct faculty member at Western Kentucky University.

Sue earned her bachelor's in business administration and a master's degree in education from Western Kentucky University. She also earned her doctorate in organizational leadership and development from the University of Louisville. Sue lives in Bowling Green with her husband Lyle. They have a son and are grandparents to 2 children.
