Cierra Waller currently serves as a Board of Education Member for the Bowling Green Independent School District. She was first elected in 2023 and is serving her 1st term.

Cierra is the associate director for student success in the Center for Innovative Teaching & Learning at Western Kentucky University. She previously worked as a student services coordinator, instructor, academic advisor, and graduate assistant for Western Kentucky University. She also worked as campaign coordinator for The Leader in Me Capital Campaign with the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce.

Cierra is from Bowling Green. She earned a bachelor's degree in medicine, health, and society from Vanderbilt University and a master's degree in public administration from Western Kentucky University. She lives with her son and attends Eleventh Street Missionary Baptist Church. She volunteers as a mentor coordinator and advisory board member for Jonesville Academy. She has served as a parent representative on the Bowling Green Junior High School School-Based Decision Making Council, Youth Services Advisory Council, and the 2023-2026 Comprehensive Improvement Plan Committee for the Bowling Green Independent School District.
