Sonia Lopez is an American citizen that emigrated to Los Angeles from El Salvador when she was 13 years. She resides in Norcross, Georgia and is married with three children and three grandchildren. She volunteers for the Norcross Lions and is involved with the Norcross Public Arts Commission and the Neighborhood Cooperative Ministry.

Sonia Lopez currently works for the Boy Scouts of America Atlanta Area Council.
