Four candidates vie for District 2 commissioner’s seat

Ellis is a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is the past President of Troup High School Alumni and a member of Elm City Lodge #544 Masonic Lodge, LaGrange Shrine Club, and Yaraab Temple. Ellis attends Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. 

Ellis owns a cattle farm and is a longtime Troup County volunteer fireman. He previously worked as the assistant general manager for utilities in Newnan and helped create the Coweta Water Authority, where he also served as general manager.

Ellis P. Cadenhead is Troup County Commissioner for District 2. He was elected in 2016 and has served two terms.

As County Commissioner, he supported the renovation of several parks and recreational facilities.
