Trellis Law: Judge Denise Marshall

Denise has a law degree from the University of Georgia. She is a member of the Mount Zion Baptist Church. Denise is a mother of one and a native of Albany, Georgia. 

Prior to her election to the Dougherty County Superior Court, Denise served as a magistrate judge for Doughtery County. She also worked in private practice and was an attorney with the Georgia Legal Services Program. 

Denise Marshall was elected as a superior court judge in the Dougherty Judicial Circuit in 2008 and still serves in this capacity. She was appointed to the board of the Georgia Commission on Family Violence in 2010 and 2013. 

Has served as a judge in the Doughtery County Superior Court since 2008.

Served as a Chief Judge for the City of Albany Municipal Court, handling administrative tasks and some misdemeanors, and traffic and ordinance violations.
