Trellis Law: Judge T. Christopher Hughes

Chris Hughes earned his bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Georgia and his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law. 

Prior to his election to judge, Chris was the first judge of the Cordele Judicial Circuit Juvenile Court, which he was named as in 2000. Prior to his time as a judge, he worked in private practice in Fitzgerald, Georgia for 16 years. 

Chris Hughes is has been a Superior Court judge for the 8th district since 2008.
