Bobby G. Peters is a judge for the Chattahoochee Judicial Circuit Superior Court in Georgia. He was appointed to this position in 2005, and has served for four terms.

Bobby is a detective with the Muscogee County Sherrif's Office, where he has been for 52 years. He also served as the Mayor of Columbus, Ohio, being elected in 1994. He has experience as an attorney, judge, law lecturer, and Director of the Police Academy.

Peters is from Columbus, Georgia, where he still lives, and graduated from Hardaway High School. He holds both a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and a master's in education from Columbus College, as well as a law degree from Woodrow Wilson College of Law. He has two daughters and three grandchildren. He is a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Columbus.
