Mark graduated from Johnson High School. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science at the University of North Georgia, and is currently pursuing a master’s in public administration at the University of West Georgia. Mark resides in Chestnut Mountain with his wife and they attend Riverbend Church. Mark is currently a member of the Hall County Board of Education

Mark is the Director of Governmental Relations at the University of North Georgia, and serves as a partner with The Vantage Group, a political consulting firm. Mark Pettitt graduated from Johnson High School. He then earned his bachelor’s degree in political science at the University of North Georgia. He is currently pursuing a master’s in public administration. Mark and his wife live in Chestnut Mountain and they attend Riverbend Church.

The Superior Court Clerk is the official record keeper and legal administrator of the county, as they are responsible for receiving and maintaining criminal and civil court filings. They also manage the county’s land and property records. Their duties are numerous and include administrative tasks, like accounting and administering oaths, and judicial, like maintaining legal records. They can also potentially fill in for other roles, such as State Court Clerk and Passport Acceptance Agents.
