Mark Pettitt is ran in the Republican primary for Hall County Schools in 2014, but did not win.

Mark is the Director of Governmental Relations at the University of North Georgia, and serves as a partner with The Vantage Group, a political consulting firm. He previously served as the District Director for the Georgia School Boards Association, and worked as an Operations Supervisor with UPS and as a Business Development Officer with Gee Heating and Air.

Mark graduated from Johnson High School. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science at the University of North Georgia, and is currently pursuing a master’s in public administration at the University of West Georgia. Mark resides in Chestnut Mountain with his wife and they attend Riverbend Church. Mark is currently a member of the Hall County Board of Education
