Carol Daves' campaign for clerk of superior court is her first entry into politics.

Carol has worked in public service for 25 years in Gilmer County. She began as the first female deputy, advanced to investigator, and then served as Gilmer County Detention Center captain for 14 years. She's also been a compliance officer for the Accountability Courts of the Appalachian Circuit for over 10 years.

Carol is a resident of Gilmer County. She earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Brenau University and a naster’s degree in public administration from Columbus State University. She raised her children in Gilmer County.
