Debra Deberry is currently the Clerk of Superior Court in Dekalb County.

Debra worked for Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, the Office of Community Affairs, and was a Environmental Compliance Engineer for the Watershed Management Department for the City of Atlanta. Prior to working for the government, Debra worked for General Motors for 20 years in a management capacity.

Debra is a single mother of one son. She is an active member and former board member of the National Association for Court Management as well as a member and third year Mentor for the National Forum for Black Public Administrators. She has served as a community liaison and advisor for WestCare. She has also worked with the Global Justice Information Sharing Initiative.
