Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Morehouse College and a master's degree in international business from Georgia State University. He is active in numerous community organizations and associations, including the Clayton County Community Service Board and the Library Foundation Board and was the founding president of the Young Democrats of Clayton County in 2018.

Michael currently lives in the Clayton County area and is the father of two daughters and two grandchildren. He graduated at the top of his class from the Clayton County Grassroots Program and is also a graduate of Leadership Clayton 2016. 

Michael is a senior partner at Lance T. Jones & Associates, a political strategist firm in metropolitan Atlanta. He has experience working in the administrative offices and municipal court system for The City of Morrow.
