Michael Gordon completed his BS and MS degrees in mathematics and computer science at the University of Rhode Island. He is ordained as a healing minister at the St Thomas Christian Church in Atlanta. He is currently married with two children.

Michael Gordon was a technical assistant conducting oceanography research for the Naval Underwater Systems Center of the United States Navy. He also taught college mathematics. He continued his career in software engineering and was employed by Science Applications International Corp., IBM, AT&T, Bellsouth, Kurt Salmon Associates, and Macy’s Systems and Technology.
