Gabriel Sanchez was born and raised in Cobb County, Georgia, to Colombian immigrant parents. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Film and Video Studies from Georgia State University and currently resides in Smyrna, Georgia with his partner Anna.

Teri Anulewicz was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and raised in New Orleans and Houston, Texas. She moved to Georgia in 1994 and graduated from Agnes Scott College with a bachelor's degree in International Relations in 1998. Teri lives with her husband, Chris, and their two children near downtown Smyrna, Georgia. 

Teri's professional experience includes public affairs and government relations, with a focus on advocacy, alliance development, and grassroots mobilization.

Teri Anulewicz has been serving in the Georgia House of Representatives since a special election in November 2017, representing House District 42. She previously served on the Smyrna City Council as the Ward 3 representative from 2007 to 2017. She also briefly served as Mayor Pro Tem in 2016.
