This is Tahnicia Phillips' first entry into politics.

Tahnicia is currently the Magistrate Court Administrator of Cobb County. She is also the co-founder and executive director of the Leonard Phillips Foundation, a non-profit that provides financial assistance to motorcyclists who have been physically injured while riding. She also has experience working as Clerk of Court for the Magistrate Court of Cobb Count and as a part-time clerk.

Tahnicia graduated from Marietta High School. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Clark Atlanta University and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from DeVry University Keller Graduate School of Management. She is also a graduate of Cobb County/University of Georgia EXCEL program. She serves on the board for Ezra William SCORE for Kids Foundation, and is co-chair of Works of Heart Benefit for the Georgia Center for Child Advocacy. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta sorority.
