Has hosted several Roundtable discussions with Governor Brian Kemp and Attorney General Chris Carr ranging from Elder Abuse to Gang Violence.

Said, "To be quite honest with you, I don’t see anything partisan about the position or why a person should have to run as a partisan for any constitutional office, whether it be probate judge, coroner, tax commissioner or sheriff."

Said, "Anytime you are talking about taking someone’s rights away from them it is a very serious issue...And it should be dealt with based on facts, and it should be dealt with very carefully."

Community Involvement

While Attending Abraham Baldwin College, appointed by Governor Sonny Perdue to serve on the HOPE Scholarship Commission as a representative of the students of the University System of Georgia.

Has been recognized as one of Georgia's Top 40 under 40 by Georgia Trend Magazine, was named Judge of the Year by the Council of Probate Judge, is a 2014 graduate of Leadership Georgia, and was named Cook County Man of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce.
