Blake graduated from Adairsville High School. He holds a bachelor's degree from Clemson University and a law degree from John Marshall Law School. He is married to his wife, Ashley, with whom they have two sons together. Their family are members of Crosspoint City Church.

Probate cases can be many things, like cases about people's wills, appointing guardians to children or the elderly, and managing estates. Probate court judges also sometimes decide whether to give out marriage licenses and gun licenses, and they can also decide traffic cases.
