Angela Haynes has a professional background in finance and accounting, having worked for organizations such as Fannie Mae, Habitat for Humanity, Prudential, Assurant, the Atlanta History Center, and Atlanta Life Financial Group. Her previous roles include an accountant, assistant controller, auditor, and director.

Angela Haynes has been a resident of Fayette County for over 20 years and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Saint Elizabeth University. She has served on the Executive Committee as Treasurer of the Fayette County Democratic Committee. She has also been a Board Committee member for the Georgia Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
