GARY MINYARD RUNNING FOR RE-ELECTION FOR FR. CO. BOE POST 1

Gary graduated from Franklin County High School and later from Emmanuel College and the University of Georgia. Gary is married to his wife. He serves as a deacon in Zion Baptist Church.


Gary worked in the Franklin County School System for 38 years teaching middle and high school levels and later at Emmanuel University. He is a member of the Gideon International and Franklin County Cattlemen Association. He presently serves as chaplain for the Franklin County Young Farmers and is on the Hart EMC Foundation Board. He operates Sandy Cross Farms. 

Gary Minyard was appointed as a County Board of Education Member in 2021.

JASON OLIVER BRINGS EXPERIENCE TO HIS RUN FOR FRANKLIN CO BOE POST 1

Jason is married to his wife and has three children.

Jason and his father run a cow/calf operation and are members of the cattleman association. Oliver taught civics and economics at Franklin County High School while also coaching for the football, baseball and softball teams. He is now retired from the Franklin county school system. 

Jason Oliver currently serves on the Franklin County Fellowship of Christian Athletes Board as chairman.
