GARY MINYARD RUNNING FOR RE-ELECTION FOR FR. CO. BOE POST 1

Gary graduated from Franklin County High School and later from Emmanuel College and the University of Georgia. Gary is married to his wife. He serves as a deacon in Zion Baptist Church.


Gary worked in the Franklin County School System for 38 years teaching middle and high school levels and later at Emmanuel University. He is a member of the Gideon International and Franklin County Cattlemen Association. He presently serves as chaplain for the Franklin County Young Farmers and is on the Hart EMC Foundation Board. He operates Sandy Cross Farms. 

Gary Minyard was appointed as a County Board of Education Member in 2021.
