The Dade County Sentinel, Forester Enters School Board Race

Steve grew up in Dade County and attended Dade County Public Schools. He has a bachelor's degree in education  from Jacksonville State University, and a master’s degree in middle grades education from the University of West Georgia.

Steve taught middle school in Walker County for 30 years. He is a member of the Head River Baptist Church. He is also a former board member of the Tri-State Cattlemen’s Association, the Dade County Historical Society, the Dade County Library Board, and the Lookout Valley Baptist Association.

Steve Forester's campaign for County Board of Education Member in Dade County is his first entry into politics.
