Cory is from Franklin County and graduated from Franklin County High School. He holds an Associate's Degree in Religious Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Theology and Theological Studies, both with Covington Theological Seminary. He is married to his wife Carrie, with whom they have three children, a son in law and a granddaughter.  He volunteers as a Chaplin with the Cobb Regional Hospital and is a member of Franklin County Young Farmers, and served on the St. Marys’ Sacred Heart Hospital chaplain board. 

Cory is currently a poultry farmer and a Pastor with Flat Shoals Baptist Church, and previously served with Double Branches Baptist Church. He also worked as a Manager with Tri State Distributors Inc. 

This is Cory Pulliam's first entry into politics.
