Chris is a native of Emanuel County and a 1991 graduate of Swainsboro High School. He is married with three daughters and a stepson. They are members of the  First Baptist Church.

Chris owns and operates Jukes Trucking LLC., South Prong Timber LLC., and MLJ Land Development LLC. He is a former Patrol Deputy for the Emanuel County Sheriff’s Office, a retired UPS driver, and the past President of the National Wild Turkey Federation.

Chris Jukes' campaign for County Commissioner in Emanuel County Commission District 1 is his first entry into politics.
