Jaha V. Howard is a Cobb County school board member. He was elected to this position in 2018, and has served one term. He also ran for the Georgia State Superintendent of Schools, but did not win.

Jaha is pediatric dentist and works at his own practice, A+ Pediatric Dentistry, where he has been for 13 years.

Jaha is originally from Sacramento, CA, and moved to Atlanta in 1990, graduating from Benjamin E. Mays High School. He holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry and Doctorate of Dental Surgery, both from Howard University, and a specialty certificate in pediatric dentistry and master’s degree in oral sciences from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Jaha resides in Smyrna with his wife and their three children. He serves as a church deacon and teacher at Renaissance Church of Christ in South Fulton.
