Personal background

Wright holds a Bachlor's Degree in Animal Science and Art from the University of Kentucky and a Master's Degree in Medical Illustration from Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University. She is married to her husband, with whom they have two sons together. She served as a member of the Clarke County School Board and is a founding member of Lukas’ fund, an Athens charity that supports women, mothers, infants and families with experience in the NICU.

Professional background

Wright is a medical illustrator, and has experience teaching about that field at the University of Georgia, Athens Technical College and at the Medical College of Georgia.

Political background

Allision Wright is the Athens-Clarke County Commission, where she currently represents District 4. She was elected to this position in 2013, and has served for two terms.

Public Services

As a County School Board member, she made efforts to reduce the growing teen pregnancy rate in Clarke County by introducing age-appropriate sex education.
