Leonard has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Hospitality from ECPI University. Since 2017, he has served in several roles for the Chatham County Republican Party, including 3rd vice-chairman and treasurer. Massey is currently serving his second term on the Tourism Leadership Council’s Board of Directors.

Leonard Massey is the President of The Social at Savannah, and has held various General Management positions at hotels throughout his career. 

Leonard Massey campaign for county commissioner is his first entry into politics.
