Paul received his bachelor's degree in psychology and his master's degree in mental health counseling from Fort Valley State University, and his MBA from Wesleyan College. He and his wife live in Macon. 


Paul is a solution specialist at Verizon Enterprise Solutions, where he has been for the past nine years. He is also a senior human resources officer for the United States Army Reserves. He previously worked as a management intern at the White House.
